Opis
In 1875 – 1876, the engineer Giuseppe Bruni made designs in the spirit of the Neo-Renaissance modelled on the country architecture of the Venetian hinterland. The villa is located on top of a small hill above the stepping slope of the garden and park towards the road from which a straight path with a few steps leads to the main house entrance. In front of the house there is a small semicircular plateau, surrounded by symmetrically arranged beds of plantations, and the part with winding paths is located on the side. This harmonious, symmetrical, small building, intended for a very large family, is decorated only in the central part of the southern façade with a three-window balcony on the first floor with shell-like lunettes. The central, extended avant-corps overhangs the central part of the first floor and ends in a classic triangular gable. In the vicinity of the villa, several more houses were built for service and economy. With the post-war construction of the hospital circle, the stables were almost completely demolished, and today only the right, eastern part of the building is preserved.
