Opis
The Havišće peninsula conceals the remains of the earliest history of Jadranovo. In the wooded landscape, there is a large archaeological zone consisting of a prehistoric hillfort on the Čelo elevation, coastal settlements along the coves of Trstena and Lokvišće, and an ancient necropolis on the Rtac peninsula. A small settlement emerged around the well-protected cove of Lokvišće in the 2nd and 1st centuries BC. In the cove, the remains of a building are still visible that was built in several phases and transformed in the period from Late Antiquity to
the late Middle Ages.
