The two "forcole" were made in Chioggia or Pellestrina and were used on the sailing fishing boat of the brothers Chiereghin from Chioggia, who sailed in the Bacàn area (inlet of Lido, Venice lagoon) until the second half of the 1970s. of the twentieth century. The Chiereghin brothers can be considered among the last fishermen to have operated a sailing boat in the Adriatic. The construction of the two "forcole" dates back to the mid-twentieth century.
