Jute cone, reinforced with ropes, with a wide mouth in the front and a small one in the back. It is towed from the stern with a long line and dragged under the surface, so that it performs a braking function, that is, it reduces the speed of the boat, keeping it in line with the wind and the sea and preventing the boat from being pushed forward by the force of natural elements, therefore from taking the "rush" and from end up being overwhelmed by the breaking waves, then to be capsized. Tool of salvation in case of stormy sea from aft or in the maneuvers of approaching land and harbour. Dimensions: length 145 cm, maximum width 65 cm (mouth or front opening). Dating: first half of the 20th century.
