Guc "Rožica", registration number CK 2253 from Selce is 5.75 m long, 2.00 m wide, with a draught of 0.40 m. This boat was built in Selce in 1990 by the shipbuilder Ivan Lončarić – Barinac. Today she is owned by the Jadro Sailing Club from Selce. The guc boats have pointed hull lines at the bow and stern, and the stem and stern posts are almost perpendicular to the waterline. This boat is fully open, without a classic deck, except a smaller deck / thwart at the bow. She is transversely secured with thwarts. The boat has one mast and is rigged with the main mainsail and a jib. Guc boats were most often used for fishing, transporting fish, various other cargoes and people, and later for sport sailing. Today she is used for the promotion of the maritime heritage of the Vinodol Channel and Kvarner and participation in events and regattas of traditional boats throughout the Adriatic.
