San Marco was used for fishing in the ‘50s and ‘60s, and then for passenger transport in the Venice lagoon until 1983 when it was purchased by the Cesenatico Tourist Board and then restored and placed in the floating section of the Museum.
Boat owner: family Marini

Sail maker: Carmela Delbianco and her nephew
Dyeing of the sails: Lino and Fabio Menghi
The boat has undergone minor maintenance of the hull and sail equipment and the substantial restoration work involved the complete remaking of the two large sails. It is important to mention that the sailmaker who made the sails is the only one still working on the Romagna coast.
