The barque Barone Eötvös was co-owned by Ivan Franković from Brseč and Ivan Pajkurić from Kostrena. The barque was built in 1866 in Sušak, i.e. Pećine, and was entered in the register of ships on 20 October 1866. According to the old measurement, she had 661 RT and according to the new one 555 RT. The ship had the prescribed twelve crew members. Ivan Franković (Fancovich Giovanni) was the co-owner with 16 shares. The ship was run by Chiepulich Carlo (Matin) from Kostrena (from 1869 to 1872) and Paicurich Giovanni from Kostrena. After eight years of sailing under the Austrian flag, the ship was sold in 1874 to Swedish citizens.
