The pasara, registration number OP 392 from Opatija, is 3.90 m long, 1.20 m wide, with a draught of 0.30 m. She was built in Lovran in 1955 by the shipbuilder Andrija Mohorovičić. Today she is owned by Marin Zrinšćak from Opatija. Pasara boats are the most common smaller boats in our area, recognizable by their round hull and flat stern or transom. This pasara has no deck, she has one mast and is rigged with the main mainsail and a jib. Pasara boats were used in fishing, transporting cargo and people, as auxiliary boats of sailing ships, sand dredgers and fishing boats (with lights), etc. Today she is used for festivals and regattas of traditional sailing boats and for fishing and leisure.
