Until her first sale, the ship was called Hrvatska. In April 1882, Andrija Frane Poščić from Volosko became the owner of the ship (he renamed the ship), and after his death the ship was inherited by his daughters Marija Bačić, Albina Rak, Antonija Kremešek and Ida Jellouscheg. The ship was in their ownership until 1909, when she was sold to a new owner in Ulcinj. In the period from 1882 to 1909, the masters of the ship were Josip Tominić from Lovran, Frane Bačić from Povljane, Luka Priskić from Lovran, Nikola Mandić from Oprić and Kuzma Stipanović from Kostrena Sv. Lucija. The masters of the ship were also Jacinto Schnautz and Amadej Paravić from Kraljevica, Anton Medanić from Bakar, and the last master was Anton Antić also from Bakar. Captain Antić saved the crew of the English steamer Cherooke on a voyage across the Atlantic and for that he received an award from the English government.
