In Maritime and History museum of Croatian Littoral there is a painting made by maneuvered indian ink of author Antonio Francesco Luppis from 1860 with number PPMHP 100423.
On the painting we can see sailing vessel brig with two masts who carry cross sails. On bow and stern one there are develeoped middle cross sails and the other sails are shrinked. Sailing vessels has a pulena on bow and on the stern there is written name Max. Sailing vessel has so called Nelson's coloring, camouflage open for cannons.

The sailing ship Max was built in Rijeka in 1856. The co-owners of the brick were Luppis Antonio Francesco (Fiume) with 8 shares, Luppis Francesco (Fiume) with 8 shares and Luppis Vincenzo Fortunato (Fiume) with 8 shares. The ship had 430 grt. She was first run by Captain Matcovich Giacomo. Apart from him, Ivan Negovetić from Mošćenice, Bačić Ivan from Veprinac and Jakov Paškvan from Podvežica also commanded the ship. She was mentioned under local shipowners until the mid-1960s. The Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka keeps a painting of the Brig Max by Antonio Francesco Luppis from 1860, ink lavee, PPMHP 100423. The painting shows a sailing brig with two masts and spar sails. The mainspar sails were unfurled on the foremast and after mast, while the other sails were furled. The ship has a figurehead on the bow, with the ship name Max at the stern. The sailing ship has a so-called Nelson Chequer, camouflage openings for cannons.
