The exhibition is part of the programme of the 20th Forum of Mediterranean Maritime Heritage and valuable exhibits of the Department of Maritime History provide an overview of the development and activities of Rijeka ocean-going shipping companies from the time of Austro-Hungarian companies to the end of the 20th century. The exhibition aims to show the public the history of research and trade voyages of Croatian seafarers from Kvarner and the Croatian coast during the 19th and 20th centuries and their contribution to the overall world seafaring.
